Squint surgery
Squint surgery involves loosening or tightening of the affected extra-ocular muscle, depending on the type of squint the surgeon decides the procedure to be undertaken.
Orthoptics
Convergence exercise are prescribed to the patients with occasional appearance of squint having good fusional control as well as in the post operative patients.
Stereopsis Evaluation
3D vision is the ability to perceive the depth and is a higher function of binocular vision. In general terms it is your ability to judge the distance between two objects kept very close.
Lazy Eye Treatment
Lazy eye also called amblyopia is the reduced vision in one or both the eyes with normal anterior and posterior segment of the eyeLazy eye can be due to squint difference in the refractive error between two eyes (anisometropia) or due to high refractive error in both the eyes (ametropia).
Ptosis
Ptosis or droopy eyelids can be present since birth due to malformation of the muscle elevating the eyelid or can occur after trauma or surgeries damaging the muscle. All varieties of ptosis surgeries are performed, including sling, and muscle strengthening surgeries depending upon the cause.
